Michael D. Jones
Business Representative - Terre Haute Area

Michael D. Jones was appointed as Business Representative of the Terre Haute Area in August 2000, and was elected to that office in June 2001. He presently serves as Trustee to Health & Welfare and State JATC, and is Secretary/Treasurer of the Central Wabash Valley Building & Construction Trades Council.
Mike was born October 18, 1952 in Terre Haute, Indiana. He is married to Carolyn. They have four children, Kara, Jessica, Michael and Matt.
Mike served an apprenticeship from June 1970 to May 1974 at which time he became a Journeyman. He was elected as Vice-President of former Local Union No. 7 from 1980 to 1981 and then was elected as President until the merger of Local Union No. 20. Directly following the merger, Mike was appointed as a member of the Local Union No. 20 Executive Board. From 1983 to 2000, Mike enjoys serving as a member of the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. He was an Apprentice Instructor of the Terre Haute Area from 1984 to 1997. Mike has received his NEBB and TABB Certifications.
