Tim was elected as Trustee for Sheet Metal Workers Local No. 20 on Saturday, July 10, 2010.  He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on July 27, 1955 and  is married to Brenda.
      Tim graduated from Culver Military Academy in 1973and attended Illinois Institute of Technology and I.U.P.U.I. (1973 - 1978) for undergraduate studies in Architecture Technology.

      In 1978, Tim became a member of Sheet Metal Workers, Local Union No. 20, serving his Apprenticeship from 1978 to 1982, at which time he became a Journeyman.   He has been a Union Steward for Lilly Alliance (2000 to present) and was the past steward for the United Maintenance Facility and VA Hospital Expansion.  He has served on many union committees including, Contract Negotiations Steering & Funds Committee (1998 to present), the Credit Union Loan Committee (1998 - 2001), Local 20 Election Officer (2001 and 2004), and was selected to represent Local 20 on the Centenial Committee (1984-1985).   Tim received his 25-year pin, and received an Outstanding Craft Person Award in 2004 from the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety.   Tim is furthering his education by participating in Journeyman Upgrade Classes.. 
       Tim has also served on numerous Boards which include:   Indiana Region 5 Workforce Board (2006 - Present) Labor Representative, Industry Rep for Carmel-Clay Parks Common Construction Wage Committee (1998, 2009 and 2010).  He has also been the Alternate Wage Setter for Hamilton County (1998 to present).  In addition, Tim is a member of the Carmel Housing Authority (2000 to present), served on the Carmel-Clay Parks Board (2002-2009), the Hamilton County Airport Board/Authority (1999 - 2008), Carmel Arts Council (1998 - 2000), Carmel Police Department Citizen's Academy & Alumni Association (2002 - Present), Hamilton County Election Worker,  past Precinct Committee Person, and Past Delegate to the Indiana Democratic State Convention.
