Michael T. Wilber was elected as President and Business Representative for the  Fort Wayne area on July 10, 2010, after serving as full time Instructor from January 2001 and Upgrade Instructor from September 1999. He was born on June 13, 1970 in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is married to Sharon. They have three children, Brittany, Brooke and Bailey.
        Michael served his Apprenticeship with Sheet Metal Workers Local 20 from June 1995 thru June 2000 with honors and perfect attendance, and became a Journeyman in July of 2000. He is a graduate of Carroll High School in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and holds an Associate degree in Sheet Metal technology from Ivy Tech.  He also received a Bachelor's Degree in Labor Education from George Meany Center in Silver Springs, Maryland. 

       Mike is Certified as a Welding Instructor, an OSHA Instructor, First Aid and CPR Instructor, and a Detailed Inspector.  

       Some of Mike's free time is spent riding his motorcycle, shooting sports, and spending time with his family. He is also a Volunteer Firefighter for Laotto Fire Department.
