David G. Johnson was elected as Business Representative for the Evansville Area after serving in this position as an appointee since November 14, 2009.  He previously served as Executive Board Member for Sheet Metal Workers Local 20, from 2004 to 2009.  

David was born on April 20, 1969 in Evansville, Indiana.  He is married and has two children.  David is a graduate of F. J. Reitz High School.

David became a member of Sheet Metal Workers on July 28, 1988 .  He served his apprenticeship from December 1995 to December 2000.  He was appointed to the Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee, as well as the Labor Management Cooperation Committee.  David is also a delegate for the Labor Day Association, and has served on several negotiation boards.

He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, boating and water skiing.
