Jeff was born on May 27, 1971 in Lafayette, Indiana, where he graduated from Lafayette Jeff High School and attended Ivy Technical School.  He is married to Donna and they have four children, Tyler, Paige, Jenna and Harley.

Jeffery became a member of Sheet Metal Workers in 1994, serving his apprenticeship from March 1995 to 2000.  Jeff is a two time Area Apprenticeship Contest Winner.  He has served on numerous committees which include Picnic (2000-2007), Softball (2001-2006), Negotiating (2004), Dad's Day (1995-2002), Habitat for Humanity (1998-2000), and Dues Structure Committee (2006-2007).  

Other involvements include being a Union Counselor for United Way, United Way Golf Tournament (1996-2007), Labor Day Softball Tournament (1999-2007), Democratic Precinct Comitteeman (2000-2007) and Tippecanoe County election official.

Jeff is a former Marine Corps Veteran of Desert Storm.  He is also a foster parent, and enjoys coaching and organizing area softball teams, as well as playing softball and golf.
